I’m sure you know this situation. You try out a new shampoo, but it’s just not the right thing for your hair. Now you have that bottle sitting around forever taking up room in the shower. Grr. Well, maybe this will help you. I have two ways for using up the unwanted shampoo.
First, if it is a very mild shampoo I use it for cleaning my makeup brushes. You don’t need a special soap for that. It’s basically the same thing as shampoo and your brushes have hairs, so why not use that for the cleaning? I have done it many times and my makeup brushes turn out great.
Second, why not use the left over shampoo as hand wash soap? When you shampoo your hair you use your hands anyway and they are just fine afterwards. So fill that shampoo into the soap dispenser and use it up that way. Believe me, nobody will notice the difference. Well, maybe your family will particularly enjoy the new smell. 🙂
