Valentine’s Day Candle Arrangement
Valantine’s Day is coming up soon. So I thought about making a Valentine’s Day Candle Arrangement. I recycle marmelade and other food glases and jars for candle arrangements. With some fabric-tape and rhinestones it works like magic 🙂
Also I used a paper rose wreath and some heart table-deco pieces. Since I like to buy decorating materials when I come across them I have a bit of a selection to choose from. It is also a good idea to save all kinds of glas jars. They turn into the most wonderful candle holders. See what you have at home and make it into a Valentine’s Day arrangement.
So here are the materials I used: A glass jar, fabric-tape, rhinestones, paper rose wreath, some rice and an electric candle.

I used the fabric-tape around the top of the glass jar to hide the part where you screw on the lid. And then I wanted some extra hearts for Valentine’s Day so I glued on some heartshaped rhinestones. In the following picture you can also see that I used rice in the bottom of the jar to hold the candle. You can use fine sand, too. I usually buy the sand for bird cages in the pet shop. It is much cheaper than deco-sand and works great. But I was out of sand so for this candle holder I used rice.

Now that the candle holder is ready all you need is the paper rose wrath and a little plate to finish the Valentine’s Day Candle Arrangement. I had an antique silver plated coaster which worked great for putting underneath.

Put the paper rose wreath on top of the plate or coaster and add the candle holder in the center. For a little extra I added 2 deco hearts.

Here is the arrangement without the hearts. Also cute. And then with the hearts. Perfect for Valentine’s Day.

And now that the Valentine’s Day Candle Arrangement is ready I remember that I wanted to bake Heart Cookies …
