Fall Winter Halloween Amigurumi
As you probably know I really enjoy making amigurumis. They are so cute and pretty fast to make, depending on the individual figure of course. But usually one can finish them in a couple of afternoons. So here are my Fall Winter Halloween Amigurumi ideas. I start decorating with them in fall (also look at my Autumn Owl Amigurumi with easy directions), then I switch to Halloween and finally keep them during the winter time, since they are based on fairy tales.
One of my favorite one is this sweet little dragon. I used leftover fluffy garn to make it look like he is spitting fire. The wings have wires inserted on the top so they stay up easily and can be bent into the right position. I chose a different color green for them, but you can use the same as for the body as well.
This one looks like Merlin, the magician. I was lucky that I still had some glitzy garn for the top of his staff. He is relatively easy to make, because the clothes are not removable, but constitute his body. However he does have legs and feet, even if you can’t see them. 🙂 Here I chose a dark blue garn with a thin thread of silver. I thought it added to the magic.
And here we go with Puss in Boots. The hat has a little strap and is removeable, as is his cape. And he even has a sword, just in case the dragon gets frisky. For the buckles of the boots I used silver garn and stitched them on. The same with the belt buckle.
The little ghost is of course the easiest to make. But I really like the addition of the iron ball and chain. Simple but great effect.
The directions to these cute amigurumis you can find in this book. I highly recommend it. It has simple directions and great explanations. It won’t take long and you will have your own Fall Winter Halloween Amigurumi.
